Today was a pretty big day – first we had to take the starboard float outside in order to make room for the joining 946 Looks pretty big next to something else that it can be compared to. Also seems to have come out better than we expected. A few rough areas to clean up and some excess that still needs to be trimmed away, but building method seems to be very efficient from what I’ve read on other types of building

Laminating fourth (and final!) float half

Spent a quick amount of time trimming for the keel foam, bogged into place and sanded the interior of the float half 898 After cleaning everything up, we rolled out the main layer of fabric 907 Added extra layers were specified and laminated 913 Once complete we also glued the stringer into place and laminated it 929 Still need to add the chainplate before taking this half out of the mold (better to work with gravity on your side).

Added camera phone pictures
