It’s taken way too long for us to get to this point. Between schedules and work commitments, just too much time has passed since starting the port float.
After Saturday’s burst of motivation, we finished fairing the float enough for primer, and I stayed up late cutting the chain plate and putting HD epoxy in to act as spacers
This left me with some small things to finish up Sunday morning (including LOTS of time with the vacuum) and enough time to shoot two coats of high-build primer before heading back home.
I am hoping beyond all hope that we are able to put the port float in storage next weekend and start the main hull bulkheads.
