Just dropping in for a mid-day update while I wait for the bog-filler to dry enough to make some good fillets and then tape the settee bunk and aft cabin forward bulkhead.
Here’s the settee bogged in place – still need to put a real fillet on and tape top and bottom
View of the aft portion of the settee where it intersects the main cabin bulkhead (looking aft from the keel). Can see the aft cabin forward bulkhead getting bogged in place
Last picture looking forward from aft keel area – can see both new bulkheads
I should be able to tape these within the next hour or two. Once they are taped, the ONLY thing left on this hull half is the aft cabin bunk (I already bogged and taped the sub-bulkhead for it this morning) and then to sand the patches we put over the few bubble areas last night (resin still too tacky to not gum up the sander).
Time spent: 4 hours
