The stbd main hull half is all bogged and sanded together and ready to start the first section of laminating (from the keel to the gunwale) –

Plan is to do a full sheet of B cloth, add the uni at the keel and then it’ll be ready to finish planking the deck areas.
Time spent: (for all planking, etc since last time update) : 16 hours
Looks like dad’s been making good use of a few days off from work (wish I was that lucky right now!)

Can’t tell for certain, but it looks like he has the HD bogged in on the keel as well since I see what appears to be a purple line along that area…

What a surprisingly hot weekend!
We got all the frames reversed, braced, plummed and installed battens… whew!

After the two of us got the frames swapped and plummed, dad started putting the battens in while I built the mold for the rudder gudgeons. For reference, 66grams of epoxy in 95 degree weather gets a little hot… 🙂
